Welcome to my site, here you will find my talents exposed and on display for your entertainment. Jonathan Dowdy aka "Velour", is a BMI Registered Music Producer, and Engineer from Hampton, VA. I began writing music in 1999 and producing in 2004 in the middle east while serving in the military. In the vast music industry there is a handful of artists and producers that inspire Velour and continue to mold my talent; Ryan Leslie, LL Cool J, J Cole, Eminem, and Mary J Blige.

I have accomplished a few things along the way like LSS Award Winner (Best Producer in the DMV for 2011 & 2012), Placements on BET, REVOLT, MTV, and APPLE TV.  I am currently a student at Full Sail University achieving my bachelor's in Audio Production.
