Theme & Variations

This is a very modern hip-hop track. I decided to use this record as my selection mainly as I am a hip-hop producer and engineer. It makes sense to attempt to remix and add some new variations to this song. 

 

I wanted to bring out his voice a bit more than the original. 

 

The plan for the chorus was to spread the chorus more. As the mix was good, I found the need to bring out the mids with some simple eq. 

 

Here I added some shakers and snares for a different groove. I felt the need to bring up the percussion for this section.
